In accordance with the German Federal Data Protection Act, the Privacy Protection officer hereby provides the public with the facts and names required by law:

4) Purpose of data collection, processing and use
Multitest Electronic Systems GmbH is an international company which develops, produces and sells automatic handling systems (also known as test handlers) for the semi-conductor industry. Data is collected, processed and used only for the above purposes.

5) Description of the persons and groups concerned, and of the corresponding data and data categories
Customer data, employee and applicants’ data as well as the data of partner firms, insofar as these are necessary for the purposes named under section 4.

6) Recipients or categories of recipients to whom data may be disclosed
Public bodies in case of prevailing legal provisions, external agents/contractors in a partnership (as defined by § 11 of the German Federal Data Protection Act), subsidiaries of Multitest Electronic Systems GmbH, as well as external and internal organisational units in order to fulfil the purposes and objectives for which data has been earmarked.

7) Time period for data deletion
Due to legal regulations, there are various stipulations on how long it is mandatory to keep data, or the period of time after which data must be deleted. Once these time limits have expired, we routinely delete the data in question. Data that is not affected by these laws is deleted as well, provided it is not needed for one of the purposes explained in Section 4.

8) Planned transfer of data to third-party states
For the time being, no data transfer to third-party states is planned. Should that change, the appropriate legal preconditions will be created.
